We enjoyed three QUIET nights here! The owner was very nice and appreciated our business. First night there, we were one of three rigs. The last night, we had the CG to ourselves. Sites are level, gravel, with small shade trees between each site. All are pull-thrus. A plus: no fire pits between sites so your neighbors could smoke you out!!! They have spotless baths/showers, min. golf, rec room, books, videos. We will return!!

We really enjoyed our two nights here as it is a well-run, spotless facility! The work kampers are nice and the owners are there...and they appreciated our business. We had a site that was perfectly level, with shade trees on both sides, and lots of grass on either side of us. (They are smart and skipped spaces between RVs.) The hookups were placed properly and worked very well. They have lots to do, and it is all clean and usable. We will return!

We really enjoyed this nice city owned RV park! The lady checking us in was efficient and very friendly, which made us feel good immediately! The site was 40 ft. wide and 75 or so ft. long. The site was concrete with a nice patio, and very beautiful and lush grass. The utilities were in the right places, for a change. It was quiet after the slight highway noise subsided around 9:30 or so. We will return!

We have stayed here before and liked it, but this time we were disappointed. At check in, the owner acted like we were a big interruption to what he was doing and it didn't make us feel welcome. Got to our site and it was covered with small pieces of trash, i.e. butts, paper pieces, paper clips, broken pencils, screws, pop-tops from cans, and lots of pieces of wood as if someone had been chopping logs. I went and asked a work kamper lady for a rake. She asked why, I told her, and she got really belligerent and insisted that she had just cleaned it! I raked and filled up a bucket with trash and then she came up and "could not believe it". She said she would come back with a leaf rake, but never did. Along that same note, the next day three RVs on either side of us checked out and none of those sites were touched. They had butts and full fire pits. Other than that work kamper, we like this park as it is quiet, with decent sized spaces, and some shade during the day. We scouted other parks while there and we will probably try another park next time for a week, but might return another time.

As always, this park is very good except for the interstate traffic noise. The employee who worked with us was very efficient and friendly. We had full hookups and 70 TV stations. The sites are level, gravel and 70' long. Picnic tables are nice, also. We will return!

We enjoyed this park!! It has nice owners, clean sites and spotless bathrooms. The park was very quiet and away from any highway noise. We had 52 TV stations, a clean pool and grounds and we'll be back.

A nice campground!! Has large pull-through sites, trees, grass, friendly work kampers, large and private bathrooms. Also has a big pool with a nice pavilion. Easy hook-ups and we were escorted to our site. We will return!!

What a disappointment! The trees have all been cut down because of pine beetle, although the ads and website don't mention this. There is NO shade, although a local info paper had a picture of this KOA with many tall pines. Besides being "barren", they haven't cleaned it up with ruts and drag marks throughout where logs were dragged around. Weeds were tall and the interior roads and sites were rutted. It rained heavily the night we were there and we had mudholes full of water. There are no facilities other than a nice store and clean bathrooms. It was way overpriced for what we got, and we won't stay there again.

This beautiful campground is closing on 9-9-09 so they can remove almost all of the trees since they have been killed by pine beetles! It will be ruined and will be an open bare spot in the forest without shade. The host, does a terrific job keeping the campground spotless. BE WARNED...the dump is closed because of an underground leak so go with empty tanks!! This breaks your heart to see a wonderful campground be ruined!

The WorkKampers were really nice & helpful! They make this a nice RV park!! When we arrived, the reservation and paper work were ready and correct. The site was spotless with a view. Lots of grass around us. Site was very wide but a little short. Baths and showers were very clean, especially considering the large group of tent campers that were not very respectful or careful about cleanliness in the bathrooms. Park has rec room, TV room, small trout pond, and an excellent dump station. We liked it and will go back!

Park is right on highway so traffic noise was very irritating, day and night. Baths lockable private rooms with stool, sink and shower. We had trees, but most do not. Sites are close. Each site has picnic table and some have grass. We did not feel welcome as the two ladies that checked us in were unfriendly and did not greet us or thank us. Another incident was when I went into office to inform them of a problem we had and the lady stared at me and then said "I don't know, I'm just a workkamper". She was of NO help in solving our problem. We went into rec room for pancakes ($4.00 each) and the owners ignored us when we walked in and said hello. Customers go where they are welcomed and return to where they are appreciated. We felt neither, so won't return.

Nice manager, Deanna, gave us a private site in back. Gravel pull thru was perfectly level and hookups were good. Small trees offered no shade but was cook and rainy so didn't matter. Baths are old, but clean. Was a very quiet night's sleep and we will return.

We regretted making a reservation for here as it was bad. Unfriendly owners, he was drinking whiskey while showing us to site. Site was very unlevel, with holes in the rocky pad. Site was rocks the size of your fist, not gravel! He said we did not have to unhook but we stuck out about 5 feet into driveway because pull thru was so short. Not a blade of grass anywhere! Site was VERY narrow, and the neighbor on our driver side sat 5 feet from our trailer smoking until 11:00. We couldn't open our windows or roof vents without gagging on his smoke, plus he had a mean dog (boxer) that growled and barked at us and everyone else he saw. Lots of permanents there, too and they left for work early a.m. in their loud diesels. A very crummy night and we WONT be back.

We liked this RV park! The manager gave us a quiet back-in space with some shade from the tall pines. Site was blacktop, level, and hook ups were in right places. Manager was very helpful to us and an asset to them! Baths were private rooms with sink, toilet, and showers and clean! We had no road noise. Park gave us kit with comp slot plays, drinks, 2 for 1 meals, etc. so that shows they value your business. Restaurant was coffee shop atmosphere but we ate dinner there twice and it was very good! Casino was nice and slots were good to me. We will return!

Beautifully landscaped with trees, flowers, and manicured grass! Sites were blacktop and level. Park is shady, quiet, and on a creek. They have a large rec room with pool, ping pong, and a cafe on site for breakfast and lunch. Karen, owner, is very nice. Our only down side was the bathrooms looked old and dark, thus appearing unclean. A good nights' sleep. Will return.

I loved this park! We had a reservation for an arrival around 7:00, after Glenda had closed. She had told me what site and to come into office in a.m. We arrived in a howling rain & windstorm and got soaked while setting up, of course. All hook ups were perfect and the site was too! Had gravel pull thru, with grass around. Despite the wind and rain til the wee hours, it was quiet and provided great sleeping. In the morning, everything was so green and clean. Lots of grass and tall trees. Bath and showers were bright and clean. Met Glenda in office and she offered any help we may need. They have boats, boat launch, crabbing gear, etc. The CG is on the bay, but you can hear and see the ocean a very short distance away. I wish we could have stayed longer than one night. We'll go back!

We were very disappointed in this CG and won't go back!! Upon arrival, had to wait ten minutes while clerk and a guest argued about what sites their group members were supposed to be in. Clerk didn't seem to care about them or us. We were to have a paved pull thru but she gave us a rocky pull thru that was narrow, short, and unlevel with holes in it. Site was also covered with cigarette butts. We went back to office and asked to move and she said "pick a spot and tell me". We chose a gravel and dirt back in on perimeter with no neighbors. Much nice than crowded pull thrus. Bathrooms and showers were filthy so did not use them. Caution: they have water regulators on their taps that point outward and ruined my water regulator so take yours off. We had evening buffet at casino and it was better than we expected. Will not return to RV park!

As always, this was excellent! Friendly owners, quiet, clean, and outstanding BBQ ribs!! They have a BBQ stand on premises, operated by owners, and ribs were fall off the bone tender. Rear of park is new and baths and showers were spotless. They even have free telephone calls for you! Can't beat this place!!

What a disappointment this was! It is mainly a paved parking lot for RVs who are fishermen. Office staff make it sound like it will be a wonderful and unique experience...it was unique!! This was way overpriced at $36.50 PLUS charged for showers! We have never had to pay for showers so used our own. Their sewer was 30 feet away from our drain as ours is on left rear and their sewer was up in front by drivers side door of our pick-up! Obviously, could not use until I was pulling out to leave and then I blocked others who wanted to go down the narrow drive. Their big claim is "walk to aqaruim and to one brew pub". We didn't, as was a long way. We won't be back!

Best Baths in the USA!!! They are individual rooms with sink, stool, and shower and are lockable and spotless!! Pull throughs are very long concrete pads and have grass between sites. Lots of space between sites. The park has low night lights that don't shine in your windows at night. Jim, the owner, was there (on a Sunday) and that impressed me. Beautiful landscaping over the long entrance from street, with big trees there. Will go back.

What a nice KOA this is! Our pull thru was at least 80 feet long and about 50 feet wide!! Level, grass, shade trees, and a clean bath! Ed and Elaine, owners, were very friendly, as was Harley, their sweet beagle. They had free coffee and danish in the morning, which is a nice touch. This is probably the best KOA we've stayed in and we'll return!!

Very nice owners working hard to improve this already nice CG. New-ish pool, new pavilions, lots of new concrete walks. Ice cream and pancakes were good. Baths were spotless!! This CG is on a creek and has many shade trees. The only negative was a short pull through site, but at least no one on either side of us. We'll go back.

Sherri, the manager was the most delightful person we met on this trip...very helpful to us and an asset to them!! We had a paved back in site with some shade and tall pines around us. Hook-ups were perfect. The bath/showers are individual rooms with sink, toilet, and showers. Very nice and private. They gave coupons for 1/2 price meals, free drinks, comp slot plays so they appreciate your business. Restaurant was coffee shop style but had very good food and reasonable prices. Casino was nice, too. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

Park was new in 2007. Long paved pull thru sites with good hook ups in right locations. No shade yet, but very quiet! You are 5 miles off Hwy 101 so no traffic to bother you. Camp in the redwoods in the Redwood Highway. Bathrooms are spotless and are individual rooms with sink and toilets...but NO showers yet. (Has to do with lengthy process to do anything in California) Dean, the owner is very nice and also owns a huge and beautiful gift shop on premises. Will stay again.

This hidden gem is between Kelso and Astoria and we found it in Trailer Life Directory. Figured it would be a jewel or a bust...we were elated to find it so nice. It is about two miles off the highway on a paved road and sits down in a valley, along side a beautiful salmon stream. Totally quiet. The owners work at making you happy and comfortable. Spaces are huge with good hookups. Shady or sunny sites. Back ins back to stream. Have a very large grassy meadow for ball games, etc. Baths and showers are old, but very clean with great hot water. At dark, it is pitch black and QUIET. Rate was $25.00 including tax. This is a sleeper...so it you like peace and privacy...go here!

My first night in a new trailer and enjoyed being greeted by the nice and helpful owner. Park is shady, spacious, and gives a rural feeling. Along the Snake River. The owner guided me to the site and offered to help in any way. Nice man.Site was gravel and perfectly flat! Good hookups in correct spots. C-store on premises with gas, sandwiches, pizza, chicken tenders, etc. close to Interstate but I was not bothered by noise. Will stay there again. Rate is PA.

This was a welcome surprise as I figured it might be dumpy and noisy on a warm Friday night. It was clean and totally quiet. Owned by the city, it is patrolled by police and sheriff so you don't get teenagers cruising thru or beer busts. Park is in sections based on FHU, W&E or none. Park section with FHU was where everyone was so we stayed in A section which had pull thru, W&E, and next to a small pond. No one else around our section so slept like a log. Checked out the mens bath, and would have been okay if campers would learn to flush the toilets!! This park caters to the local fishermen who rent sites by the summer season or the year and leave their rigs there and use them like summer cabins. Would be perfect if they would pick up there butts and beer cans and not toss their trash into fire pits. They have a tornado shelter which would have been used if we had stayed the next night. They also charge $5 for a "three day car fee", plus $18 for camping.

We booked this only because of location for that night. Park needs a general spruce up, and a major cleaning of grounds as there were pop-tabs, cigarette butts, hardware, and other debris all over the grounds. Hardly any grass. Right next to interstate so trucks will keep you awake all night. I won't stay there again.

After reading reviews of all the varieties of CG in Branson, we chose this for several reasons and were very happy here. You are on a ridge away from major roads and noise, and are only 5 minutes from Branson shows, etc. Owner was friendly and appreciated our business. CG is hilly but sites are level. We had a pull-thru with good utilites and a decent picnic table. Bath and showeres were excellent, very clean with good hot water. Totally quiet at night! This is a great escape from the crowds of Branson and we will return.

Stayed here only because of very high winds all day. Owner was disinterested, seemed to care only about getting payment. Bordered on rudeness. Pull-thru site was concrete but short as truck stuck out in front. Sewer was way in front, had to pull up 8' to dump in a.m. Had a beat-up wooden picnic table in the gravel and stickers...not a blade of grass. Glad my dog was not with me. The good: was quiet at night since not on Interstate, but none of the parks in Green River are on the interstate. I thought it was way too pricey for that facility. Won't stay there again if don't have to.

A nice park in every way! Tom the owner is nice and appreciates your business. Sites are pull thrus, gravel and very level. Nice table and grass next to site. utilities were excellent and in right position. Bath and showers are spotless! Has a lot of seasonal rigs but they are clean and neat. Will stay again!

In a quiet hollow with a stream and many tall trees. Friendly lady at check in. spaces were level and decent size. the store was nice and the entire grounds were peaceful. We stayed two nights and first night was full of boy scouts camping in tents and they trashed the toilets. They stopped them up and laughed about it. The second night, we were one of only three rigs and it was quiet. I went to use a toilet and they were still stopped up and unflushed! The bath and shower need a good scrubbing down to the concrete and a new paint and finish as they looked very old and moldy. other than bathrooms, we enjoyed our stay and would return.

What a pleasant surprise this was! About a mile and a half from the interstate and totally quiet! You camp right next to the river on grassy sites that are big enough to build a house. Very long pullthrus and about 40 feet to the next rig. Good utilities, spotless bath and shower, big trees for shade and very nice owners. What more could you ask for? I wish we could have stayed a couple of days but were only passing thru. I will return.

Owners are very friendly and helpful. Site was a level pull-thru with good hookups and a clean and well maintained picnic table. Bathrooms and showers were immaculate! They have a nice recreation room, tv area, mini-golf and a sparkling pool. They served a Sunday breakfast of delicious pancakes, (try the blueberry) sausage, and biscuits and gravy, juice , donut holes and coffee. This was free, but were taking donations for a charitable cause. Only one negative and it wasn't bad but there is a railroad track across highway and I heard one train during the night but no whistle! We will return as it is only a couple of hours from home.

This park is very ordinary...crowded sites, gravel, and lots of "permanent" energy workers with trashier rigs. Baths and showers were not very clean. We spent one night and left. The next day we found that our rear license plate had been stolen and when we called this park to tell them of the incident so they could beef up any security, they did not seem to care. We will not stay there again! There is a beautiful Colorado State Park directly across the street and we will stay there from now on.

We enjoyed the large shade trees and the pull-thru concrete pads. You pull in and you are level! They are in a great location in town and you can walk to restaurants, etc. They have a small pool to enjoy. The staff was very friendly There are two dog runs. We were surprised how quiet it was considering it is in town. We will stay there again!

We had reservations for a travel trailer, 2 nights, 30 amps. Was told we would be in a shaded pull thru. We got there, checked in and paid 2 nights, and went to our site to find it a BACKWARDS back in, e.g. the hookups were on the wrong side. Also, it was wide open without any tree in sight! Went to office, elderly lady manager said "someone should have told you it was for a nose-in Class C". We asked about the nice shaded pull-thru across the drive and was told it was only for 75 foot rigs. We got a refund and left, went to Canyonlands RV park and enjoyed it! WE DID NOT STAY AT THIS PARK.

We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet this park was. Bath and showers were large and spotless! The office staff wasn't very friendly at check-in or when I went back to them to get another site. (The first site they gave us was covered in dog poop!) When I went to office, the response was "oh, that cannot be". they finally gave us another site and we enjoyed the night. We will stay there again just for the clean bath and showers.

This is a great park in every regard! It is in a valley away from town and is very quiet. It has the Boulder River flowing next to it, with site on the river. Shade, fishing (pond or river) nice grassy areas, and a very complete store. They have a lot of RVs there for a month or the whole summer, so book early if you want long term.

This is the best park we have been in!!! The staff is great and they appreciate your business. Streets are paved as are the picnic table patios. We were backed up to Natl Forest so had privacy. What a disappointment! Most of RVs there are long term construction/energy workers and RVs and people are fairly seedy looking. Bath and showers were filthy, with womens evidently worst! Employees were friendly but we suggest you find other parks. Sites were gravel with little or no grass and very close to each other. We were awakened at 5:30 by diesels idling and pickups leaving for work so we didn't get a good nights sleep. We wont be back!

There are only two parks in Gardner and this sounded the best. It has a good location and a friendly owner. Bath and showers were fairly clean, but they had youth groups tent camping there and they were pretty sloppy (and dirty) in bathrooms. They have free miniature golf but nothing else. This park was repossessed in June by former owner and family. They have not had time to fix up the neglect by foreclosed-on buyer, but they will work on it. Park was quiet, has view of Rapid City, and a beautiful pool. Owners are very nice and we would stay again. Only downside is baths are older and need freshening---but were clean.

Disappointed in looks and layout of park. We thought the sites would be more secluded but all were wide open and close to each other even though not in rows. Several permanents RVs there that were trashy looking. Most sites are electric only, but they have a dump station. Many dogs barking, some off-leash. Interior roads are red dirt, slippery, and rough. Our site was impossible to level, as were others when we talked to other camper. The GOOD: very clean showers and bathrooms! They have a delicious BBQ dinner on Saturdays and it is a very good deal.

This is the most expensive and overrated park we have seen. At check in, the workkamper was having trouble using the computer and the manager chewed her out in front of us. It was a sign of things to come. At site, the electric did not work so I went to office, only to find that they closed at 5:30 and had no number for help. The landscaping is knee to waist high sage brush and gravel. Dusty, snakey, and unpleasant to walk on. They got us once, never again.

We spent a perfect peaceful night here! Park was clean, quiet, and manager and owner were both very helpful and friendly!! Had many deer and turkeys around, with a small creek behind park. Sites were spotless. We would have spent more than one night but needed food and there were no stores in Mayhill. We will go back again.
